We are excited to introduce a new certification opportunity in the IPGGC Prevention Track. The International Gambling Prevention Specialist (IGPS) certification is designed for behavioral and public health prevention professionals, equipping them with evidence-informed, public health strategies to prevent problem gambling and reduce community harm.

- Specialized Focus: Master population-level prevention, early intervention, and application of the Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF) model in gambling.

Requirements at a Glance:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree, college diploma, or equivalent license/certification in a behavioral/public health field.
- Training: 15 hours of approved gambling prevention training (completed within the last 5 years).
- Experience: 50 hours implementing prevention strategies in communities.
- Consultation: Minimum of 4 consultation hours with a Board Approved Prevention Consultant (BAPC).
- Fee: $100.00 application fee.
