Requirements for Collegiate Counselors Gambling Certificate (CCGC)
The CCGC is a certificate for campus counselors to provide knowledge and resources so campus counselors can assist a student struggling or in crisis due to gambling-related issues. Counselors will learn best practices on how to properly assess whether a student may need further resources for treating gambling disorders. The training will also help campus counselors know how to find relevant resources beyond their campus to assist students and/or families seeking help for gambling-related issues.

Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the behavioral health field
Employment Verification
Employment verification – current/prior internship or employment working with college students OR seeking employment to work with college students
